Established in 2007
Tricia and Rainer purchased their 100-acre farm nestled on the banks of the Shoalhaven River in 2004 as a weekend escape from the city for the family. Rainer a builder and Tricia a senior executive, soon fell in love with the rural lifestyle and it only took about 4 years to turn it into their family home.
Situated in the picturesque countryside of Oallen, NSW, 60km from Goulburn and Braidwood. 115kms from Canberra, 200kms from Sydney.
Planting 1200 oak trees sourced from Tasmania in 2007, originally as a hobby farm, it has now turned into their primary business with many much-loved farm animals and 3 pet dogs which turn into working truffle dogs in winter.
Their love for rural living has seen the property expanded to now accommodate a variety of farmstay options from camping to deluxe suites.
The wedding of their daughter in 2023 brought about the construction of a bespoke pavilion which hosts truffle hunts from June to August but can also be used for quaint bush weddings or corporate events.
Always thinking about the environment, they use recycled materials for their structures wherever possible, have solar panels, capture rain water in large tanks and have even installed an EV charging station to assist guests with electric vehicles.
